AMINO-METHYL-COUMARINACETICACID - Introduction
Acid is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H11NO4.
-Nature: Acid is a white or yellowish solid with good thermal stability. It is sparingly soluble in water and soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and chloroform. Its melting point is about 161-164°C.
-Use: Acid is often used as a chemical fluorescent probe in biological and medical research to detect and measure the presence and concentration of amino acids, proteins and other biomolecules. It is also used as a fungicide and antioxidant.
-preparation method: Acid can be synthesized by reacting 4-methyl -3-coumarin aldehyde with amino acids. The reaction needs to be carried out in an appropriate solvent and under appropriate conditions.
