Preparation Method:
The preparation of 2-Bromo-5-chloro-1,3-difluorobenzene can be carried out by the following steps:
1. First, p-fluoroborate (C6H3BF2O) or benzylidene boron difluoride (BF2CH2(OMe)) is reacted with benzylidene lithium bromide (C6H5CH2Br) to give 1,3-diphenyl -2,4,5,6-tetrafluorobenzene.
2. Then, 1,3-diphenyl -2,4,5,6-tetrafluorobenzene is reacted with bromine to obtain 2-Bromo-5-chloro-1,3-difluorobenzene.
