| preparation | dimethyl 2-amino iso-phthalate is prepared as follows: trimethylsilyldiazane (9.12mL,18.24mmol)(2M in ether) is slowly added to 2-amino -3-(methoxycarbonyl) benzoic acid (2.0g,10.25mmol) in an anhydrous solution of 9mL tetrahydrofuran and 6mL methanol, and then the mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature. The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by rapid chromatography (1-6% methanol/CH2Cl2) to give the title compound dimethyl 2-aminoiso-phthalate. |
