| use | 1-acetyl -4-piperidine can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis, mainly used in laboratory research and development process and chemical pharmaceutical synthesis process. |
| preparation | triethylamine (6.41mL) and acetic anhydride (3.49mL) were added to a commercially available chloroform (50mL) solution of 4-piperidine methanol (3.98g) and stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. Add saturated sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution to the reaction mixture and evaporate the solvent under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (chloroform: methanol = 99:1 to 4:1) and then again by NH silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate: methanol = 99:1 to 4:1). Purified to obtain the title compound 1-acetyl-4-piperidine (4.87g), which is a colorless oil. |
