| Application | cyclopentane-1, 2-dicarboxylic anhydride is an organic intermediate, 2-dicarboxylic acid was prepared by one-step reaction with acetic anhydride. Cyclopentane -1, 2-dicarboxylic anhydride can be used for the preparation of proline derivatives. Proline is a cyclic imino acid and is the only imino acid of the 20 common amino acids that make up proteins. In the peptide chain has its special role, easy to form CIS peptide bond, is not conducive to the formation of a helix. Proline and its derivatives are widely used in small molecule catalysis and medicinal chemistry. At present, proline and its derivatives are widely used as synthetic building blocks in dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (e. G., Vildagliptin, Saxagliptin) and anti-HCV Virus drugs (e. G., Telaprevir, Boceprevir). |
