| production method | benzene, 3-methylthiophene and half of benzoyl peroxide are put into a glass-lined bromination kettle, stirring and steam heating system are started, slowly heating to reflux, then N-bromosuccinimide and the other half of benzoyl peroxide are added in batches for about 45-60min. After adding, continue to reflux until the reaction reaches the end point (mixture foaming slows down). After the reaction is over, it is cooled to precipitate the by-product succinimide from the benzene and filtered to recover the succinimide. The filtrate is transferred to the distillation kettle, benzene is recovered under reduced pressure, then the product is distilled under high vacuum, and the product is obtained by receiving a fraction of 75~78 ℃ at 0.133kPa. The yield is greater than 75%. |
