2,4-dichloro-6-methylaniline is mainly used as an intermediate and reagent in organic synthesis, and is widely used in the fields of pesticide, dye and medicine. Method:
Generally, 2,4-dichloro-6-methylaniline is obtained by reacting 2-methylaniline with thionyl chloride, and then chlorinating. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Dissolve nitrosoaniline in dichloromethane.
2. Add about 50% sulfuric acid inhibition solution Dropwise into the reaction system.
3. Complete the reaction by adding sodium nitrite solution.
4. Use ammonia to adjust the pH value to neutral.
5. The reaction solution was added to saturated salt water, and the product was collected by centrifugation.
6. The above product is added dropwise to the prepared liquid thionyl chloride, and 2,4-dichloro-6-methylaniline is obtained by the reaction.
7. Distillation and crystallization purification product.
