Iodopamidol (N,N'-bis [2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl) ethyl]-5-[(2S)(2-hydroxy-1-oxopropyl) amino]-2,4, 6-triiodo-1, 3-phenyldicarboxamide)(II), is one of many triiodide diagnostic reagents, it is a non-ionic water-soluble contrast agent. Due to the high iodine content, X-rays are attenuated to achieve the purpose of imaging. It is suitable for X-ray imaging for intravascular injection. Clinically, iopamidol is used for various angiography, such as cerebral angiography, cardiovascular angiography, etc.

3, 6-dihydroxy-xanthen-9-one is a non-ionic water-soluble contrast agent, which has low toxicity to blood vessel walls and neurotoxicity, good local and systemic tolerance, low osmotic pressure, stable injection, and less in vivo deiodination. It is suitable for patients with myelography and high-risk factors of contrast agent reaction. 3, 6-dihydroxy-xanthen-9-one is used for lumbar, thoracic and cervical myelography, cerebral angiography, peripheral arteriography and venography; also used for cardiovascular, coronary, urinary tract, joints, etc. Angiography and CT enhancement.
Preparation
Mix the raw materials 2,2 ',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone (5.0g,0.02mol) and water (65mL) in a stuffy tank, react at 220 degrees for 6 hours, cool and filter to obtain a solid, and then spin the solid under vacuum to obtain a light yellow solid compound 3, 6-dihydroxy-xanthon-9-one.
