Physical and Chemical PropertiesColorless to yellowish liquid. Sweet floral and herbal aromas, with coconut and lavender oil aromas. It is a mixture of three isomers of α-, β-and γ. Boiling point 240 °c. Miscible in ethanol, chloroform, ether, mineral oil and most non-volatile oils, soluble in glycerol, slightly soluble in propylene glycol, insoluble in water.
