| Production method | The addition reaction of ethylene oxide with methanol and boron trifluoride ether is carried out to neutralize the reaction product to obtain methoxyethanol. It is then esterified with phthalic anhydride, and then decolorized with activated carbon, distillation, water washing, alkali washing, dehydration, and pressure filtration to obtain the finished product.
