Formylaminobutyricacid (alpha-)(Formylaminobutyricacid (alpha-)) is an organic compound with the chemical formula CH3C(O)NHCH2CH2CH2COOH.

Nature:
Formylaminobutyricacid (alpha-) is a solid, usually colorless crystalline, with a distinctive ammonia odor. It has the property that it can be condensed into dimethyl dimethylglutarate in the presence of sulfurous acid and an appropriate amount of catalyst.
