3-METHOXYPYRIDAZINE(3-methoxy-diazine) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H8N2O and a molecular weight of 100.12g/mol. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor.
3-METHOXYPYRIDAZINE is mainly used as a catalyst and reagent in organic synthesis. It can be used as a basic catalyst to improve the reaction rate and selectivity in organic reactions. In addition, it can be used to catalyze the redox reaction of aldehyde and ketone compounds, as a polymerization acid catalyst in emulsion polymerization.
The method for preparing 3-METHOXYPYRIDAZINE can be obtained by reacting 4-methoxypyridazine with methanol under alkaline conditions. The specific preparation method is as follows: 4-methoxypyridazine and an appropriate amount of methanol are added to the alkaline solution, usually sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) is used as the alkali, and the reaction system is heated and stirred, after completion of the reaction, the product is neutralized with an acid, precipitated under acidic conditions, and 3-METHOXYPYRIDAZINE is obtained by filtration or centrifugal separation.
