(R)-t-butyldimethylsilyl glycidyl ether is an organosilicon compound having the formula [C4H9(CH3)2SiO]n, where n represents the degree of polymerization. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

Use:
1. water-shrinking agent: because (R)-t-butyl dimethyl silicon glycidyl ether has good shrinkage properties, it is often used as a water-shrinking agent to speed up the volatilization of organic solvents such as coatings and inks;
2. Coating additive: As a coating additive, it can improve the leveling and anti-foaming properties of the coating;
