Diethyl (2-oxobutyl) phosphine, chemical formula C10H23O2P, is an organic compound. It has the following characteristics and properties:
1. physical properties: diethyl (2-oxygen butyl) phosphine is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid, with flammability. It has a density of about 0.88g/cm³, a boiling point of about 202-204°C and a flash point of about 100°C. It is soluble in non-polar solvents such as petroleum ether and diethyl ether.
2. chemical properties: diethyl (2-oxygen butyl) phosphine can be used as a phosphine donor, through the formation of complexes with metals, to participate in organic synthesis reactions. It can also be used as a hydrogenation reagent, catalytic reduction reaction. In addition, it has certain ultraviolet absorption properties and can be used as an ultraviolet absorber in some cases.
3. Application: Diethyl (2-oxybutyl) phosphine is often used in the acylation of carboxylic acids, the carbonylation of olefins and the preparation of catalysts in organic synthesis. It can also be used in the synthesis of antioxidants, stabilizers, dyes and pharmaceutical intermediates.
