Ethyl 2-methyl-3-oxo-3-phenylpropanoate, also known as (2-methoxyphenyl) acetobutyrate, has the chemical formula C11H14O3.
Nature:
Ethyl 2-methyl-3-oxo-3-phenylpropionate is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a low vapor pressure at room temperature.
-It has low solubility, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide, and insoluble in water.
