2-Cyano-5-pyridineboronic acid (2-Cyano-5-pyridineboronic acid) is an organic compound containing boron and a cyano group.
Nature:
-Appearance: 2-cyano-5-pyridine boronic acid is white crystal or solid powder.
-Solubility: It is soluble in water, ethanol and some organic solvents.
-Stability: 2-cyano-5-pyridine boronic acid is stable at room temperature.
Use:
-2-Cyano-5-pyridine boronic acid is widely used as an important reagent in organic synthesis, especially in the Suzuki reaction as a catalyst and a raw material in aromatic redox reactions.
-It can also be used to prepare other organic compounds, such as fluorescent dyes and drugs.
Preparation Method:
There are two main methods for the preparation of 2-cyano-5-pyridine boric acid:
1. the use of pyridine and halogen co-reaction, and then by adding boric acid preparation.
2. the use of cyanide and pyridine reaction to produce borate, and then through acid hydrolysis into 2-cyano -5-pyridine boronic acid.

-2-Cyano-5-pyridinium boronic acid is currently not reported to be toxic or dangerous, and is generally considered a relatively safe compound.
