1-Ethylcyclopentadienyl-1,3-cyclohexadieneiridium(I), commonly abbreviated as EtCpIr(COD) or Ir(EtCp)(COD), is an organic iridium compound. Its chemical formula is [C5H4C2H4CH3]Ir(C8H12), and its molecule contains a five-membered cycloalkenyl group (ethylcyclopentadiyne) and a six-membered cycloalkenyl group (1,5-cyclooctadiene). The iridium atom is connected to these two cycloalkenyl groups.

Properties: 1-Ethylcyclopentadienyl-1,3-cyclohexadieneiridium(I) is an organometallic compound with good stability. It is a dark red solid with good solubility. It can form solvated iridium ions in solution.
