Preparation Method:
- 1,3-Bis(t-butyl)imidazolium tetrafluoroborate can be prepared by the following steps:
1.1,3-tert-butyl imidazole dichloride (1) reacts with tetrafluoroboric acid (HBF4) to generate 1,3-Bis(t-butyl)imidazolium tetrafluoroborate.
2. After appropriate column chromatography or crystal filtration, the pure product is obtained.
