1,3-Bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (1,3-Bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) is an organic compound commonly known by the abbreviation IPr. It is a commonly used N-heterocyclic carbene (N-heterocyclic carbene) ligand. The following describes its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

Preparation Method:
The synthesis of-IPrr is generally carried out by a two-step reaction. First, the electrophilic substitution reaction of 2,6-diisopropylphenol and chlorocyanate gives 2,6-diisopropylphenylcyanide; then, cyanobenzene reacts with ammonia via cycloaddition to form IPr.
Safety Information:
- IPr as a chemical reagent, generally need to be operated under suitable laboratory conditions, need to pay attention to protect the eyes and skin, avoid inhalation or intake.
