(S)[(Sp)-2-(Diphenylphosphino)ferrocenyl]-4-isopropyloxazoline, abbreviated as (S)-DIOP, is a chiral organic compound. Its chemical formula is C26H26FeNOP and its molecular weight is 465.3g/mol.

Nature:
(S)-DIOP is a red crystalline solid soluble in polar organic solvents such as methanol, dimethyl ether and tetrahydrofuran. It is stable in air, but insoluble in water. The compound can be characterized for its structure by X-ray crystallography.

Use:
(S)-DIOP is one of the important representatives of chiral ligands, which is widely used in asymmetric catalytic reactions.
