Pyroxamide is a potent inhibitor of histone deacetylase 1 (HDAC1) with an ID50 of 100 nM. Pyroxamide can induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in leukemia.

Pyroxamide (1.25-20.0 μM
24-72 hours) suppresses RD and RH30B cells growth, pyroxamide resulted in 44% dead cells for 72 h at 20.0 μM, results in 86% dead cells in culture[1]. Pyroxamide (10.0-20.0 μM
48 hours) shows sub-G1 fractions of 45.0% and 72.3% at 10.0 and 20.0 μM, respectively[1].

HDAC1 100 nM (ID50)
