This product is colorless or yellowish transparent liquid, slightly amine odor, soluble in water, alcohol and ether and other organic solvents, can absorb moisture and carbon dioxide in the air.
There are two production routes currently used.
This product is an efficient catalyst for the reaction of polyurethane formation, and has strong selectivity for the reaction of isocyanate with water. It is characterized by small amount and high catalytic activity, and can be used as the main catalyst of soft polyurethane foam and the auxiliary catalyst of semi-rigid and rigid polyurethane foam. In addition, it can also be used as a catalyst for the polymerization of olefin oxide, phase transfer and metal complexes. The compound form of this product, commonly known as AM-I, of which the content of pentamethyldiethylenetriamine is 70%± 1%. Its characteristic is to improve the tolerance of the formula processing, improve the foaming process performance and product quality.
slightly toxic. For skin contact, rinse with tap water. Packed in a clean galvanized iron drum with a net weight of 15 0kg per barrel. It shall be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse below 40 ℃, and shall not be stacked in the open air.
