AES is mainly developed to improve the weather resistance of ABS. Compared with ABS, the rubber backbone in AES Resin is not polybutadiene, But EP (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) or EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber), due to the use of no double bond (or little) of the stability of the rubber, fundamentally solve the shortcomings of the poor weather resistance of ABS, its aging resistance, weather resistance is about 4 to 8 times of ABS. AES not only excellent weather resistance, due to the low Tg of EPDM rubber phase, therefore, its low temperature resistance is also very good, better than ASA resin. Among the components of AES, acrylonitrile contributes to good chemical resistance, gloss, hardness; Styrene contributes to rigidity, processability.
AES is a graft copolymer of ethylene-propylene rubber or EPDM and styrene-acrylonitrile, which can be polymerized by solution method. 5G hexane and 28. 6G chlorobenzene mixed solvent, adding styrene and acrylonitrile, and then add dicumyl hydrogen peroxide, heated to 115 ℃, keep about 22h, polymerization conversion rate of 92% ~ 95%, total solid content of 35%, the product was precipitated with ethanol, washed with water, added with a stabilizer, filtered and dried to produce an AES product.
It is mainly used for outdoor products and high-grade consumer electronic products, office equipment and auto parts without coating.
paper plastic composite bag packaging, 25kg/bag, stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place, to prevent the sun and rain, away from the fire source, can be transported by non dangerous goods.
AES can be processed according to the corresponding grade ABS molding process, with good thermal stability and less yellowing during processing. It can be processed and molded by injection molding, extrusion, calendering, plastic absorption and other methods, usually pre-drying before molding, drying temperature 80~85 ℃, time 3~4H, typical injection molding process: molding temperature: the rear of 180~200 ℃, the middle of 200~230 ℃, front 200~230 ℃, nozzle 200~220 ℃, mold 40~80 ℃; Injection pressure 50 ~ 80MPa. The injection temperature of heat-resistant grade AES is increased by about 10~20 ℃.
