894086-00-1 - Introduction
5-(di-tert-butylphosphanyl)-1 ',3',5 '-triphenyl-1' H-1,4 '-bipyrazole is an organic compound with the chemical formula C41H39N3P. It is a pale yellow solid with a high melting point and is insoluble in water.
This compound has a variety of applications. On the one hand, it can be used as a ligand in the field of metal organic chemistry to form complexes with transition metals for the synthesis and application of catalysts. On the other hand, it can also be used as a precursor of organic optoelectronic materials for the preparation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and polymer solar cells.
The method of preparing 5-(di-tert-butylphosphanyl)-1 ',3',5 '-triphenyl-1 H-1,4'-bipyrazole can be carried out through a series of chemical reactions. A typical synthetic method is to react 2,6-benzophenone with an excess of a phosphinating agent, such as tri-tert-butylphosphine, to form the corresponding phosphonate. Then, the phosphonate is reacted with the aniline compound to produce the target product. Finally, it was identified and characterized by crystal diffraction and infrared spectroscopy.
With regard to safety information, current understanding of the toxicity and safety of 5-(di-tert-butylphosphanyl)-1 ',3',5 '-triphenyl-1' H-1,4 '-bipyrazole is relatively limited due to a lack of specific toxicity studies. However, during handling and use, it is still necessary to follow the usual laboratory safety procedures, wear chemical protective glasses and gloves, and operate in a well-ventilated environment to avoid direct contact with the skin and inhalation of its dust. In case of careless contact, rinse with plenty of water in time.
