Preparation Method:
2,2 '-Bipyridine, 4-ethenyl-4'-methyl-can be synthesized by the following steps:
1.4-Chloro-4 '-methyl-2, 2'-bipyridine is reacted with potassium hydride to obtain 4-methyl -4 '-hydro-2, 2'-bipyridine.
2. The above product is reacted with iodoacetylene to generate 2,2 '-Bipyridine, 4-ethenyl-4'-methyl-.
