The preparation of FMOC-L-2-(3-thienyl) glycine is usually carried out by the following steps:
1. reacting dioxanone with 3-thiophene methanol to obtain 3-thiophene ketone.
2. 3-thiophenone is reacted with glycine to obtain FMOC-L-2-(3-thienyl) glycine.
