Use:
-, pinacol ester is an important organic synthesis intermediate, commonly used in the synthesis of drugs, pesticides and organic materials.
-It is widely used in the preparation of anti-cancer drugs and other biologically active compounds in the pharmaceutical field.

Preparation Method:
-, the preparation of pinacol ester can be simplified by the synthesis steps, as follows:
1.2,6-dinitro-p-methoxybenzene was used as starting material, and 2,6-diamino-p-methoxybenzene was obtained by nitration and reduction reaction.
2. the reaction of 2,6-diamino-p-methoxybenzene and 1,3,2-dioxaborane -2-ethanolate generates 2-methoxy -4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl -1,3,2-dioxabororan-2-yl) phenol.
3. The obtained 2-methoxy-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl -1,3, 2-dioxabororan-2-yl) phenol is reacted with a nucleophile (such as HCl or Cl2) to obtain pinacol ester.
