207233-90-7 - Introduction
disodium 2,2 '-(E)-ethene-1,2-diylbis (2'), often referred to simply as ITX-Na2, is a solid compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:
Nature:
-Appearance: White crystalline powder
-Molecular formula: C18H12O6S4Na2
-Molecular weight: 514.47g/mol
-Melting Point:>300 ℃ (decomposition)
Use:
ITX-Na2 is often used as a photoinitiator, especially in ultraviolet (UV) light curing systems. It can generate free radicals by excitation under the condition of light, so as to initiate photochemical reaction and promote the process of light curing. Therefore, ITX-Na2 are widely used in ink, coating, adhesive, offset printing and other fields to improve the curing speed and effect of light-cured materials.
Method:
The preparation of ITX-Na2 usually involves the reaction of isopropyl thiocyanate, 2,2 '-stilbene and disodium sulfonate. The specific procedure involves mixing and dissolving isopropyl thiocyanate and disodium Sulfonate in a suitable solvent, and then adding 2,2 '-stilbene. The reaction is usually carried out at an appropriate temperature and time, and the product is isolated and purified at the end of the synthesis.
Safety Information:
- ITX-Na2 should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from fire and oxidizing agents.
-Wear protective gloves and safety glasses when using.
-Avoid inhaling dust. If you inhale it carelessly, move it to a well-ventilated place immediately and seek medical help.
-Avoid skin and eye contact, such as accidental contact, should immediately rinse with plenty of water, and seek medical help.
-Follow safe practices and appropriate waste disposal measures during handling and storage.
