Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties purple brown powder. The solubility in water (50 ℃) is 100g/L. The aqueous solution is red-purple, and the addition of 1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution is still red-purple. After adding sodium hydrosulfite and warming, it is colorless, and then adding sodium perborate cannot restore the original color.
