production method | method 1. After passing through a column filled with a KY-2(H-type) exchanger, heating, evaporation and concentration are carried out until crystallization begins, and then the sulfuric acid dryer is discharged, the precipitated crystals were removed and then dried in a desiccator. Methods 2. Soak barium periodate with a small amount of water, add an excess of concentrated nitric acid with a relative density of 1.42 (find out, do not contain nitrogen oxides), heat to 60~70 oC, cool, stand, and stir constantly, let it fully react: After the reaction is finished, cool to 30~40 ℃, filter out barium nitrate precipitate, wash the precipitate with concentrated nitric acid to not contain periodic acid, wash and filtrate, together with reduced pressure evaporation concentration (60~70 deg C), after cooling and standing, so that colorless periodic acid completely crystallized, the filtered crystals were dried under reduced pressure at 50 oC, periodic acid with a purity of 99.5% to 99.9% was obtained. |
