Lanthanum Chloride Anhydrous is a white powder, also known as Lanthanum Chloride (Anhydrous) and Lanthanum Trichloride. Anhydrous lanthanum chloride is soluble in water, acid and hot water. It is easily soluble in ethanol and pyridine, but insoluble in ether and benzene. It is easy to deliquesce, and generates hydroxide or chlorine oxide precipitation in case of alkali.
